BrandBlasting Cookie Policy
Last Modified: December 13, 2022
This Cookie Policy describes how BrandBlasting uses cookies and related technologies to recognize visitors to our Website (https://brandblasting.com). It explains what these technologies do, why we use them, and the choices available to you for controlling them.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file of characters sent to your computer when you open a website. It lets the website recognize your browser when you return and may hold preferences or other information.
Cookies can save you time and let the Web server know that you have returned to a particular page.
Cookies placed by the website owner, here BrandBlasting, are known as "first party cookies." Those placed by another party are "third party cookies." Third party cookies support features such as advertising, interactive content, and analytics on or through the website. Their providers can recognize your computer on this website and on certain other websites you visit.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first party and third party cookies for different purposes. Some are technically required for our Websites to work; we call them "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Others help us understand users’ interests and improve the Websites and Subscription Service. For example, BrandBlasting records which BrandBlasting Websites and pages you visit to identify the most popular or frequently used areas. This helps us provide customized content and promotions to customers whose behavior suggests an interest in a subject. Third parties also place cookies through our Websites for advertising, analytics, and other purposes, as explained below.
Which cookie types do we use, and what do they do?
The first and third party cookies served through our Websites fall into the following categories and purposes:
Essential website cookies: These are required to deliver services available through our Websites.
Performance and functionality cookies: These improve how our Websites perform and function, but are not essential to basic use. Some features may be unavailable without them.
Analytics and customization cookies: These gather information, including aggregated information, to show how our Websites are used, assess marketing effectiveness, and help tailor the Websites to you.
Advertising cookies: These help make ads more relevant. They can limit repeated display of the same advertisement, help ads display correctly, and sometimes select advertisements based on your interests.
Social networking cookies: These let you share interesting Website pages and content through third party social networks and other websites. They may also support advertising.
How can I control cookies?
You can decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Use the relevant opt-out links below to set your preferences.
Most advertising networks also offer a way to opt out of targeted ads. Learn more at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com. Opt-out options are available at http://optout.aboutads.info/ or http://optout.networkadvertising.org/ (and for European Union visitors at http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/). Opting out does not stop all advertising; you will still see generic advertisements.
Essential website cookies cannot be refused because they are necessary to provide the Websites. You can nevertheless block or delete them through your browser settings, as explained above.

What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not our only tracking technology. We also use clear gifs, known as Web Beacons or Web Bugs, to understand which Website and Subscription Service content is effective. These tiny graphics contain unique identifiers and can track users’ online movements. Unlike cookies stored on a computer’s hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly in web pages or emails and may be only the size of a punctuation mark. Clear gifs or pixels in HTML emails tell us when recipients open messages, helping us assess communications and marketing campaigns. Information collected through email clear gifs is linked to customers’ Personal Information.
Do you use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects?
Adobe Flash Player and similar applications can store usage, preferences, and settings through an interface separate from browser cookie controls. These locally stored objects are often called "Flash cookies." BrandBlasting does not use Flash cookies, but customers may create BrandBlasting platform pages that do. We cannot access or control those customers’ Flash cookies. You can access Adobe’s management tools directly here.
Customers may likewise build pages through the BrandBlasting Subscription Service using third-party tracking tools, including cookies and web beacons. Their use of these technologies is outside this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Notice. We do not control third party trackers or cookies used by customers.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
Third parties may place cookies on your computer or mobile device to advertise through our Websites. Information about visits to this and other websites can help them display relevant goods and services and measure advertisement effectiveness. They may use cookies or web beacons to collect those visit details and select advertisements of potential interest. That information does not let us or them identify your name, contact details, or other personally identifying information unless you choose to provide it.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may revise this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our cookies or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Before material changes take effect, we will post them here and provide a more prominent notice through the site or email. Please check this page regularly to stay informed about cookies and related technologies we use.
The date shown at the beginning of the Policy is its most recent update date.
